The Montgomery Town Board will hold a special meeting on Monday, Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m. to consider the appointment of a new police chief.

The meeting will take place at the town hall chambers at 110 Bracken Road.

The board is expected to go into executive session to deliberate on the appointment, but that actual appointment will be voted on in public session.

Town Clerk Tara Stickles said the meeting will not be livestreamed, but the public is welcome to attend the meeting at town hall.

According to the notice posted by the town clerk, there will be no public comment taken during this meeting.
