On Exhibit May 5th – June 25th

The Wallkill River School became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in June of 2008, so we are proudly presenting an exhibit of paintings and memorabilia from the first spark of an ideas in 2001 to our 15th Anniversary Celebration of our nonprofit status in 2023. Come take a victory lap with us and remember all the places we have been as a movement and an art organization.
Beginnings is a group exhibit featuring artists who were active with The Wallkill River School between 2006 and 2010, during the organization’s transition into a nonprofit organization in 2008. Although the participating artists were involved 15 or more years ago, many of the works on display are new, contemporary works, so viewers can see how artists’ work has evolved and grown over time. The exhibit is a wonderful reminder of the talent and passion which founded Wallkill River Center for the Arts.
