On Thursday, September 26, at approximately 12:40 ia.m., the Town of Crawford Police Department responded to an iPhone crash notification in the area of State Route 52 and Boniface Dr.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle into the Dunkin Donut's building at 2380 State Route 52.

Eric Schrader, 44 from Pine Bush was operating a 2015 Chevy Silverado in an eastbound direction on State Route 52 when he entered the westbound lane, exited the roadway, and struck the Dunkin Building. The vehicle penetrated the building which was not occupied.

The building was severely damaged, preventing the entry of the responding officers until the arrival of rescue units.

Pine Bush Fire Department along with Orange County Fire Control and building collapse units from the surrounding area secured the building and Schrader was extracted at 0230.

Schrader sustained severe head injury amongst a variety of other injuries. He was transported to Garnet Medical Center, who has him listed in serious condition.
