Anthony “Tony” Scotto  of  Montgomery, 83 entered into rest on Friday, November 19, 2021.  

Born on October 30, 1938 on Quaker Street in Wallkill, the son of the late Luigi and Anna  Minutolo Scotto. 

He is survived by his children Lori Lee McCravey, Rosemarie Scotto (her fiancé Lenny Molter), Tony Scotto, Jr. (his wife Marlaine Scotto) and Joseph Scotto. He has 2 loving sisters Josephine McPhillips and Patricia Saltamachia. He was predeceased by his brothers and older sisters. He has several grandchildren and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

Tony was a lifelong resident of the area and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Montgomery. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball and was an  avid New York Yankees fan. Tony was the kind of man who was always ready to help a friend or family member in need.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24th at the Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery,. 

A funeral mass will be offered at 12:30 on Wednesday, November 24th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 89 Union St., Montgomery. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Windsor Hwy, New Windsor.

 In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, 50 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
