The Coldenham Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire December 1 on the grounds of the Brick House Museum on Route 17K. Coldenham Command had heavy smoke and fire coming from a coop in the rear of the property. A second alarm was sounded to bring Mutual Aid to scene: Washingtonville Fast Team, Newburgh FD-Engine,Montgomery Truck, Walden FD-Engine, Air Guard-Tanker, Maybrook FD-Tanker. Orange County Fire Coordinator, Mobile Life and Montgomery EMS also responded. No injuries were reported.
