Just two weeks after officially opening its new fire house, the Wallkill Fire Department officially welcomes the 2022 Hudson Valley Volunteer Firemen’s Association Parade.

The convention officially gets underway on Wednesday morning with a Board of Directors meeting. The schedule includes convention session Thursday and Friday, with a Mardi Gras Parade Friday evening, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. through the streets of Wallkill.

The dress parade will step off Saturday at 1 p.m. with a reviewing stand set up in front of the new Beck’s hardware, (the former Wallkill Ford).

Trophies will be awarded at 9 p.m. at the firehouse.
