Spring is now officially here, and Easter is not far away. The celebration is spring official gets underway this weekend, with the annual Easter egg hunts throughout the Wallkill Valley.

Walden
The Village of Walden Recreation and Parks Department will hold their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1, at 10 a.m. at James W. Olley Community Park. Participants will be split into the following age groups: 0-4 years; 5-7 years and 8-11 years. Prizes awarded for the 2 children in each age group who find the Golden egg!

Pine Bush
The Town of Crawford will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt, on Saturday, April 1, at Pine Bush High School Football Field. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m., following registration, which begins at 10 a.m. The event is open to children in toddler-6th grade age groups. Entry fee is $5 per child and includes an egg hunt, goodie bag, all crafts/activities, food, drinks, and pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Parents are reminded that there are no bathrooms open this time of year, and the event is subject to cancellation in the event of dangerous weather or ground conditions. Weather determination will be made Saturday morning. If a cancellation is necessary, it will be posted on the Town of Crawford Facebook Page.

Montgomery
The Village of Montgomery’s Annual Easter egg hunt will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1 at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Pre-school through elementary school are welcome. 

Maybrook
The Village of Maybrook is excited to announce its upcoming “Easter Egg Drive Thru” event on Sunday, April 2, from noon to 1 pm. The event will take place at the Frederick Myers Veterans Memorial Park and is free and open to the public.

Wallkill
The Wallkill Lions Club will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt taking place on Saturday, April 8, at the Wallkill Public Library Lawn. This fun-filled event is free to kids of all ages and will start at 9 AM.

Families are invited to come out and enjoy a morning of excitement, as children can hunt for Easter eggs filled with treats and snap a photo with the Easter Bunny. Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the special memories of their children collecting Easter eggs and meeting the Easter Bunny.

The Pallet Barn and Christmas Tree Lane in Wallkill will also host an Easter egg hunt on April 8. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the hunt commences at 11 a.m. A $2 donation is requested. Call 845-895-3536 for more information.
