This is a dream come true for the young as well as the senior members of our Village. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one who aided in any way for this event to be accomplished. I am truly honored to have this beautiful building named for me - a girl born in Brooklyn, who grew up in Wallkill, Ulster County and later taken over the border to Walden, Orange County by her handsome husband, Douglas E. Vandermark.

I am truly blessed.
