Jean H. “John” Boulidor of Walker Valley, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at home after a short battle with cancer.  He was 76. 

The son of Emile Boulidor and Anne Mingam Boulidor, he was born September 21, 1945 in Scaer, France.

John was a well-known French chef and was the owner of Bruynswyck Inn, Wallkill, NY. He also cooked at the Motel on the Mountain, Cavu, Club 84, & The Restauration. He loved watching tennis, soccer & Tour de France. He got back into fishing in the last 20 years, especially for trout, which he would serve in the restaurant.

Survivors include his sister Renee LeBeux and her husband Rene of France, nieces  Anne and Marie, grand nieces and Grand nephews, longtime friend and restaurant manager Lee Ann Muller of Port Orange, FL, close friend  Joyce Boniface, friends       Jen & Greg Berger, who assisted with his care and hundreds of friends and followers and extended family He was predeceased by his parents, aunts & uncles.

A special thank you to Tracy Sue Sapp for her care in his final days.

Burial will be next to his father in Walker Valley Cemetery after cremation. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
