Jerry L. Hurd of Walden, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Martine Nursing Home, White Plains, NY. He was 58.
The son of Linda Jordan Hurd and the late Ray Jerry Hurd, he was born on October 9, 1963 in Jacksonville, FL.
He was a store manager for Lowe’s, Newburgh.
Along with his mother, Linda Hurd of Cumming, GA, he is survived by his wife, Ann Hurd at home; son, Jerry Hurd (Jessica) of Middletown; daughters: Jaclyn (Matthew) Kalkowski of Fishkill, and Brianna Hurd of Mahopac; brothers: Michael Hurd and Brian Hurd both of Rhode Island; sisters: Krystal Goldie (Greg) of St. Augustine, FL, Cyndi Smith (Brian) of Georgia, and Mary Hurd of Rhode Island; grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jazmine, Jaelynn and Brayden; nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25th graveside, at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Route 52, Walden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586.
