Library hosts poetry writing contest

Gardiner Library presents a Pollinator Poetry Writing Contest, open to ages 7-10.

First, second and third place winners will be published in the first library issue of WordPop! Gardiner Library’s Junior Literary Magazine. Celebrate our winged friends and garden habitat where they thrive. Poems do not have to rhyme. Use traditional, verse, acrostic, blank verse, limerick, or Haiku. Theme should not be in the title. Submissions need to be typed and include the name, address, and age of the entrant. Submissions will be accepted through August 31.
