The Montgomery Fire Department was dispatched in the early morning hours of July 21 for a reported structure fire at 50 Corbett Road.

Automatic mutual aid brought Walden with a rescue, Bullville with a tanker and the Orange County Fire Coordinator to the scene.

The fire department reported the fire to be under the front deck of the home. With the help of a citizen and the home owner who was able to get a few buckets of water on the fire and were able to contain it.

The fire units were reported back in service at 9:52 p.m., a little more than an hour after the initial call.
