Panthers win Nordic ski championship

Jordan Marwin placed third overall, leading the Wallkill Panthers at the boys’ Section 9 Nordic skiing championships at Lapland Lake Ski Center in Benson, Hamilton County.

The boys’ team finished second with 17 points and the girls’ team placed third. Both teams have earned medals.

Charlie Price placed fourth in the 10K race.

Andie Psilopoulos finished fourth in the girls’ 7.5K race.

Marwin and Psilopoulos have qualified for the New York State Public High School athletic Association championships on Monday and Tuesday at Gore Mountain.
