Paul Dickinson formerly of Walden, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center, Campbell Hall, NY. He was 63 years old. The son of Warren and Jean Dickinson, he was born on May 21, 1959 in Newburgh.

Paul lived in Middletown for over 30 years, having also lived in Walden, Montgomery, Maybrook and Port Jervis.

Paul was very active in the Church of St. Joseph, Middletown. He was a well prepared lector. As a guardian of the Eucharist in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Paul encouraged Eucharistic devotions and served as a captain for Perpetual Adoration. Paul was also an active member and officer of the Knights of Columbus.

As a Knight of Columbus, Paul was a member of John Paul the Great Council #486 of the Middletown Knights of Columbus. With the Knights of Columbus, Paul held the office of Chancellor. He had previously been the Worthy Recorder for many years and served as Faithful Navigator in the Fourth Degree Assembly in Middletown. Paul was part of the Fourth Degree Color Corps honor guard. 

 Paul was a great advocate in the Pro-Life movement. He always encouraged people to get active in Pro-Life activities including the Right to Life March in Washington D.C., the Orange County Life Chain and many pro-life prayer events in the area. He always encouraged people of all faiths to get involved in the movement.

  Survivors include numerous cousins in Walden, Pine Bush, Maybrook, Montgomery and some outside of New York State.He was predeceased by his parents Warren and Jean and his brother Mark J. Dickinson.

 A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Joseph, Middletown, NY. Burial will be at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Church of St. Joseph, Middletown.
