The Pine Bush Varsity Girls Basketball team showcased their dominance over the past week with resounding victories, underscoring their prowess in the league.

On Friday, Jan. 10, Pine Bush cruised to a commanding 72-16 victory over Goshen Central High School. The game was highlighted by Ketura Rutty’s monumental achievement, as she scored her 1000th career point. Rutty’s milestone makes her only the fourth girls basketball player in Pine Bush history to reach this remarkable feat, cementing her legacy on the team.

Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, Jan. 7, Pine Bush continued their winning streak with a convincing 65-29 triumph over Kingston High School. The victory extended Pine Bush’s undefeated season, now standing at a perfect 8-0 record. Their stellar performance included a string of wins, with four matches won by 24 points or more this season alone.

Pine Bush’s dominance at home remains unchallenged, securing their 12th consecutive home victory dating back to last season. Their offensive prowess has been a key factor, averaging an impressive 64.7 points per game during their winning streak.
