We have been residents of the Village or Town of Montgomery for the past 42 years. Now retired, we have been active in our community by serving in a variety of volunteer capacities for many of those years. Along the way we have met Randi Picarello, a community leader extraordinaire, who is now running for Trustee in the Village of Montgomery.

Randi’s efforts on behalf of the community have been just plain outstanding. In addition to her designation as an “Orange County Rising Star”, she has been involved in a myriad of roles which have benefited fellow residents from younger to older in very positive ways. Randi is currently the Executive Director of the Business Council of Greater Montgomery ... founder of the Greater Montgomery Market... a member of the Board of Directors at TOMSTRONG and TOMIDA... an Orange County Pattern for Progress Fellow. She even negotiated a community benefit agreement for the Village of Montgomery valued at $600,000, the results of which can be seen at Veterans Memorial Park for the community to enjoy.

Randi holds memberships in the Village Preservation Committee, Junior League of Orange County, TOM Historic Preservation Commission, Alzheimer’s Association Corporate Walk Executive Committee and Hudson Valley Oil and Energy Council.

Moreover, and in our opinion, she is intelligent, articulate, energetic, open­ minded, forward thinking and willing to listen.

We hope everyone has the opportunity to meet Randi out in the community on the campaign trail before the March 21, 2023 election. We are confident you will find her to possess the qualities and experience to serve as a Village of Montgomery Trustee with commitment, honor and integrity.
