Roselle Marie Brock of Pine Bush a retired Administrative Assistant and a long time resident of the area, passed away Monday December 26, 2022 in Vassar Hospital, Poughkeepsie.  

The daughter of Michael Babino and Rose Agresti, she was born in Brooklyn  New York. To this day, she never lost her Brooklyn accent. Roselle grew up in Brooklyn, graduated Salutatorian of her class from Grover Cleveland High School. 

She continued her education at Hunter College, and began her business career as a paralegal at a law office in New York City. Roselle met her beloved husband, William, of 52 years, through a mutual family friend. William was home on leave from the Navy, a friend needed help carrying a  handmade cabinet to her parents apartment in the city. When Roselle answered the door, sparks flew and as the saying goes, the rest history. William and Roselle’s love for each other had no bounds. They honored, respected and supported each other and their family to the fullest, every minute of every day. They were truly an amazing couple! 

Bill and Roselle moved to Pine Bush in 1957 with their three children. Roselle,  became very active and a long time member of the Church of the Infant Saviour.

As a member of the church, Roselle faithfully took on many roles for her church community,  Eucharistic Minister, lecture at weekly Mass, Alter Rosary Society, Renew, Renew, and  Rebuild, Religious Education Instructor, Quest, Church choir, Marian Prayer Group,  member of the Parish Council, Parish financial committee, community group, aka social director for the church. If there was something going on in the church she  would be there, lending a hand or giving gentle advice. Roselle leaves behind her three children, William Brock, daughter in law Nancey, Michael Brock, daughter in law Mindy, Daughter, Linda Giuliano and son in law Kevin. Seven grandchildren, Iana Boyd (Scott), Alyssa Schaller (Shaun), David Brock (Alexis), John Giuliano (Keri), James Giuliano (Brittany), Michael Giuliano (Heidi) and Joseph Giuliano. Seven great grandchildren, Devin, Sadie, Erin, Georgina, Kevin, Abby, Harrison and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Michael and Rose, Roselle was predeceased by her husband William and sister Joan. 

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on December 30 at the Church of  the Infant Savior. Burial was at the  Bloomingburg Cemetery.
