Do you and your family hold the holiday spirit? If so, come celebrate the season at Vision of Wallkill’s Santa Drive-Thru taking place on Sunday, December 5, between 3 – 4 p.m. at the Shawangunk Town Hall. Make this event a family tradition by playing your favorite holiday tunes from your decorated vehicles and flashing your lights while awaiting your turn to greet Santa.
End your day by taking a drive around the town to hunt for the best and brightest homes and businesses that are participating in this year’s Sparkle & Shine Contest. Neighbors and businesses will show their holiday spirit with friendly competition for the top decorating prize in the traditional or creative categories. Participants must have their decorations completed by December 6 and are asked to post a photo of their decorations and address on VOW’s Facebook page, so that our community can view your decorations. Judging will begin thereafter, and winners will be announced the week of December 12. Award certificates and ribbons will be presented at a future Town Shawangunk Board Meeting.
