The Montgomery Senior Center Book Club’s  September selection is “The Hour of the Witch” by Chris Bohjalian, a book sure to inspire another lively exchange! Speaking of books, I finally finished “Stop at the Red Apple Rest” by Elaine Freed Lindenblatt, the founder’s daughter. What a great book. It was an easy read with a lot of local history and interesting facts. I would highly recommend it, especially since in a recent newspaper article there was a mention of a family member interested in reviving the famous old spot.
