Jack Sherry scored two goals in the Valley Central boys’ lacrosse team’s 6-5 loss to the Minisink Valley Warriors on Friday at Valley Central High School.

Bryson Antal scored a goal and added an assist for the Vikings (8-3). Dylan Butcher and Kai Hew added a goal each. Dan Latimer had an assist, and Landon Santangelo made eight saves.

Ben Salamone and Nate Bell had two goals each to lead the Warriors.

Sherry scored six goals in the Vikings’ 17-9 win over the Washingtonville Wizards on Wednesday.

Connor Stafford scored five goals and had two assists, while Butcher had two goals and two assists. Julian Rodriguez and Antal had a goal and an assist each. Latimer had a goal and three assists. He had a goal and an assist, and Brody Jurman added an assist.

Santangelo made nine saves.

Sean Creeden led the Wizards with four goals and Andrew Heins added three.
