Hello New Windsor. There are so many generous people in this world, and two of those wonderful people are Sally and Terry Kraft, owners of the Alps Sweet Shop with locations in Beacon and Fishkill.

Sally and Terry have been so generous to the Town of New Windsor over the years, donating chocolate bunnies for all attendees of our annual Easter Egg Hunt to receive. Even during the Pandemic when there was a shortage of chocolate and the Alps could not even get the supplies they needed to have their store shelves stocked for the holidays, they still donated the chocolate bunnies to the Town, never once wavering in their generosity, even though they were short on supplies and revenues would take a hit. That is true generosity.

The Town of New Windsor Recreation Department is excited to announce that our annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Sunday, March 24 at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park at 2 p.m. We will have an Egg Hunt for ages 8 and under, fun games for kids over 8, all attendees will receive a chocolate bunny donated by the Alps Sweet Shop, there will be a petting zoo from Clover Brooke Farms, and the Bubble Bus will be back playing music and shooting bubbles.
