Michael Morris passed away Saturday April 11, 2020. He was 49.

Michael was a people person. He never met a stranger and he always had a big smile on his face and big heart tucked inside. Mike was a lifelong resident of Wallkill, NY and that suited him just fine. That big smile and warm heart drew people to him. They were his family of friends and he shared his enthusiasm for life with them. When he and Natasha welcomed little Mikey into their world, Michael’s life became complete. He loved and adored that little boy with his whole heart. He was proud to be his daddy and everyone knew it as well.

Mike enjoyed life to the fullest every day. Mike would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, or give you a good talk about how life wasn’t that bad. Mike enjoyed outdoor adventures, especially when it came to riding his quad with friends. He will be forever remembered and missed by all of his friends that became family.

As a child, Mike loved the circus and carnivals and parades. I don’t think he ever outgrew that love because he was always a big kid at heart. How great it is that he got to share his love for them with his little boy.

Michael’s memory will be a treasure to all who knew him and loved him.

He is survived by wife Natasha James of Wallkill, sons Michael J. Morris of Wallkill and Zachary Morris of Oceanside, CA; Mother and stepfather Joanne & James Joy of Fairbanks, AK; Brother Eric N. Morris of Fairbanks, AK; Half-sister Kim O’Connell of Wappingers Falls, NY; Uncle & Aunt Fred & Harriet Callis of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; nieces Toni-Marie O’Connell of East Greenbush, NY and Ashley O’Connell of Poughkeepsie; nephew Michael O’Connell of CT and Aunt Patty Roudis of Napanoch, NY

He was predeceased by his Father George Morris and Grandparents Fred & Elizabeth Callis.
