The Newburgh Goldbacks beat the Cornwall Dragons, 19-16, in Saturday’s Orange County Youth Football League Division 2 Super Bowl at Marlboro High School.

The Goldbacks had two previous playoff wins at Academy Field in Newburgh. They opened the playoffs with a win over Port Jervis on Nov. 4 and beat Minisink on Nov. 12 in the semifinals.
The Division 3 Goldbacks suffered a Super Bowl defeat to the Dragons, 20-0in the final game of the day.
