Newburgh Library introduces E-Learning Computer Lab for online classes and individualized support

The Newburgh Free Library announces the launch of its state-of-the-art E-Learning Computer Lab, providing the community with access to online classes, personalized assistance, and a range of devices to enhance digital literacy skills.

The E-Learning Computer Lab offers a diverse curriculum covering basic computer operations, internet usage and other essential topics. Participants can learn at their own pace, with flexible scheduling and support available to suit individual needs.

The lab is equipped with a variety of devices, including laptops, a Chromebook, an iPad, two Alienware specialized laptops for digital and video production and a MacBook. Whether it’s practicing newly acquired skills or exploring advanced digital techniques, participants have access to cutting-edge technology, enabling them to apply their learning effectively.

Individualized assistance is also available at the E-Learning Computer Lab. Visitors can seek guidance on computer-related queries, smartphone usage and mobile devices. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are dedicated to helping community members navigate the digital landscape with confidence.

The E-Learning Computer Lab is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Individuals unable to visit during these hours can arrange an appointment for personalized assistance by contacting Sue Scott at suescott@rcls.org or calling (845) 563-3609.
