Each day, the delivery vehicles drop off packages at people’s door. I myself get them. With Porch Pirates being a problem, I would like to offer a suggestion. When the person delivering the package drops it off by the front door, he/she should ring the house doorbell before leaving. That way the resident can answer the door and retrieve the package before the Porch Pirate does. While it isn’t 100% foolproof, it will reduce the chance of Porch Piracy.
