I would like to sincerely wish everyone a very happy, healthy, and successful 2019!

I’m deeply grateful and extremely honored for being afforded the privilege of serving you in the state Senate. As I have always done, I will work with members of all parties to deliver results for our Senate district.

You can rest assured I will always represent our community to the best of my ability, both locally and in Albany, just as I have always done in the Assembly. As we enter 2019 you can be confident that I’ll push on many of the most critical issues we face:

- Advocate for middle-class tax relief and for reforming the harmful property tax system we have in New York State.

- Fight to make sure we get our fair share of infrastructure and education aid so ensure our roads are better paved, our classrooms sizes are small, and our local property tax burden is offset.

- Continue to make sure that every community, including the Village of Kiryas Joel, plays by the same rules and follows the same laws.

- Continue to lead the effort in making the Child Victims Act the law in our state, so that sexual predators can be brought to justice.

- As the new chairman of the Senate’s investigations committee, I will lead the fight to clean up Albany and hold everyone - and I mean everyone - accountable to the people we serve.

I always welcome input and feedback so please reach out to me anytime with your thoughts. For constituent services, you can reach our office at (845) 567-1270. Thank you once again for affording me the honor of representing you in the New York State Senate - I will work every single day to make this district proud.
