As the month of June approaches, it is prayerfully hoped that the Pride Flag will not fly from the official Marlborough town flag pole.

Nevertheless, if the town board insists upon the wanton display of contempt for many of its own citizens, perhaps it will fly the pro-police flag from the town flag pole during the month of July. This flag counters the defund the police movement and the anti-police rhetoric and violence of the radical left. If the board refuses to do so, we can only conclude that there is a blatant double standard involved. The LGBTQ agenda is welcome, but that of the more traditionally-minded residents is not.
