Community Day and Independence Day Celebration returns to the Town of Newburgh on Friday, June 30 at Algonquin and Cronomer Parks. Community Day will feature local food, games for families and children and other activities to enjoy. The headliner for Community Day is the local Hillbilly Parade Band. The community celebration returned in the summer of 2022 after two long years of cancellations due to COVID, and everyone expressed their happiness and appreciation to see the festival return. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and go till 10 p.m. with a fireworks show finale.
