Antoinette Romano of Walden, a resident of the area passed away peacefully at home on Sunday February 7, 2021, in Walden.  She was 91. 
The daughter of the late Alfonso and Maria Carmen Columbaro, she was born May 24, 1929 in Bronx.
She was the widow of Alfred Romano.
Antoinette graduated from Olinville Junior High School in Bronx, NY in 1945. A talented seamstress, she spent years making clothing for her own children and grandchildren, and once crocheted hats and gloves for actress Joan Crawford. Antoinette was an avid baker and an excellent homemaker, who always put her family first. She possessed a love for fashion, and an affinity for “old Hollywood” greats, such as Clark Gable, Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman. 
Survivors include her daughters Donna  Heber of Walden, and Debra Thormann and her husband Alan of Highland Falls; Granddaughter, Laura Belfiore of Pleasant Valley and Great Granddaughter Liberty Dickman

She was predeceased by her brother Anthony “Tony” and Sister, Lillian.           

Graveside services will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Bronx.
