The Vision of Wallkill would like to thank all those that participated in our Art Along the Sidewalk Project, Halloween Style. We hope everyone enjoyed creating their pieces. There was fantastic artwork that made it difficult for the group of Vision of Wallkill members to determine the winners:

Pre-K winner:
1st Place – Jacob Squires

Grades K-6 Winners:
1st Place – Trinity Thorn 3rd Grade

Grades 7 – 12 Winners:
1st Place – Kaley Slader 9th Grade
2nd Place – Arianna Jorge-Martinez 8th Grade

Winners may pick up their prizes at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Shawangunk Town Hall between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday – Friday. Please use the entrance on the side closest to the firehouse.

Take a walk throughout the Hamlet of Wallkill to view the beautiful work of our young artists. The artwork will remain on display until mid-November, at which time we will contact the artists with details on where and when to pick up their artwork.

The Town-Wide Halloween event “THE HAUNTED HAMLET OF WALLKILL” is happening now. Get into the “SPIRIT” and decorate your home/yard to best express your vision of Halloween. Post a picture of your decorations to our Vision of Wallkill Facebook page. You decide if you want to include your address. All photos are due by October 28 so we can view on share on Halloween!
