Brandon Davis, of Middletown, graduated from The University of Tampa on Saturday, May 6. Davis graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Media and Culture BA.
Ashley Schiaffo of Middletown is a winner of the The Mid-Hudson SBGA Scholarship Program sponsored by Mid-Hudson SBGA Ashley is the child of Richard Schiaffo. She is majoring in Nursing at Orange County Community College.
The Mid-Hudson SBGA Scholarship Program was established by the Mid-Hudson Superintendents of Buildings & Grounds to help finance the higher education of children of persons who are employed in the Buildings & Grounds Departments in the Mid-Hudson area. Through the program, Mid-Hudson SBGA awards scholarships to current college students and promising high school seniors who plan to attend accredited colleges or universities. The scholarship winners are chosen competitively on the basis of their academic records, participation in school and community activities, full- or part-time work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, and a recommendation

A total of 232 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost’s List honors for the spring 2023 semester. To qualify for the Provost’s List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Alayna Savaglio, of Middletown, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, NJ, has graduated with a BA as of May 2023.
In Commencement exercises on May 17, 2023, FDU also conferred more than 2,445 degrees, ranging from associates to doctorates, on graduates at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, including:

Maddison Apap of Montgomery

Le Moyne College has named local students to its Spring 2023 Dean’s List. To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Taylor Bonner, a Junior Communications major from Gardiner.
Daniel Mondelli, a Senior Psychology major from Pine Bush.

Nearly 900 students were named to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. Students named to the Dean’s List include:
Miguel Trujillo of Bloomingburg who is studying in the Heating / Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Technical Services academic program.
Brianna Dellasala of Montgomery who is studying in the Mortuary Science academic program.
