On Sunday, September 18, Daniel O'Reilly, age 58, passed away in Painted Post, NY.

On June 28, 1964, Daniel was born in the Bronx to Daniel O'Reilly and Evelyn Starr .Daniel was raised in the Bronx until age 12, then he was moved to Florida, N.Y. Eventually he lived in Staten Island, N.Y, until he became a father to one son, Bryce, in Dundee, N.Y.

Daniel, also known as Danny, was a brilliant "Jack-Of-All-Trades." Give him something to do and he could do it. He partnered with his friend to do electrical work and he eventually owned his own business, DB Maintenance Enterprize. He was a big-as-life, happy go lucky fellow. Everywhere he went he made life-long friends. He was generous and jovial with a smile a mile long and a laugh you couldn't help remembering. He would give you the shirt off his back, literally. Despite his own life struggles, he put out his heart and hands to everyone else first, while he took up residence on your couch. He was very funny, giving you the occasional wink to let you know he was being naughty. No matter where he was expected to be, when he finally arrived he became the life of the party and he could make any event a celebration. Despite being short in stature, he was bigger than life. He had a lot of love for everyone, especially for his son, Bryce. Bryce was his world, his universe. No father could ever have been prouder than he was. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, even if he wasn't related to you by blood. He adopted many of his friend's children and they in turn adopted him. He had amazing stories to tell and he was amazing to know. No one can forget Danny.

He leaves behind: Son, Bryce O'Reilly, age 11; Dad, Daniel O'Reilly and Stepmom, Susan O'Reilly; Mom, Evelyn Starr-Wood and Stepdad, Ronald Wood; Sister, Patricia O'Reilly-Wilson, her husband, Alan Wilson, and her daughter, Danielle Fiorello; Brother, James O'Reilly, his wife, Yvonne O'Reilly, and their children, Mia, Addison, Braxton, and Walker.
