Diane Elaine Wilson Wright of Fountain, FL formerly of Walden, NY, passed away on April 15, 2023. She was 64.
The daughter of the late Douglas E. and Doris e McNamee Wilson, she was born on September 19, 1958 in Goshen.
Diane loved country music, dancing and bowling. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She played her music loud and just wanted to have fun. She marched to the beat of her own drummer.
Diane is survived by her daughters: Vicky L. Wilson Conklin (Albert), of Tenn, Elizabeth McCombs of Walden, and son, Lawrence J. Wilson Otisville. She is also survived by her brothers, Dwain E. Wilson (Clara) of Walden and Dennis E. Wilson of Fountain, FL; sister: Debra E. Wilson Lynch (Michael) of Walden and sister-in-law, Adele Roy of Middletown; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Douglas E Wilson, Sr., and Darrell E. Wilson Bronson, daughter, Endora, grandson, Mark, nephews, John Peter and Michael, and sister-in -law, Lillian.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m.on May 6th at the Walden Baptist Church, 38 Bank Street, Walden. Memorial contributions may be made to family to be used at their discretion or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
Local funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc., Walden.
