Dolores A. Angevine of Montgomery, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in Goshen.  She was 79. 

The daughter of the late Everett P. and Anne Kryger Church, she was born July 5, 1942 in Mt. Vernon, NY.

Dolores worked as a library media specialist for Florida Union Free School District, Florida, NY. She was an alumni of the School of the Holy Child in Rye, NY. 

Affectionately known as “Granny”, she loved to read to her grandchildren.  In her younger years as a mother, she was a welcoming, nurturing woman who accepted all others into her family and home.  She enjoyed being a teacher, camp counselor and librarian. 

She was the widow of Alan L. Angevine.

Survivors include her daughter   Kristin Angevine & Anthony Cavadi; daughter   Karen Harkins and William; son Alan P. Angevine and Angela; grandchildren Dylan, Megan, Zachary, Adam, Dolores, Kaitlin, Joshua, Adam C., Alanna, Will; sister Joyce Ray and David Ray, beloved Friend Shelia, many nieces and nephews and numerous beloved students

Visitation will be Friday, April 8, 2-4pm, 7-8 pm, at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery. A blessing will be given at 8pm during the visitation

A graveside service will take place Saturday April 9, 2022, at 11:30am, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery. A celebration of life will take place following the graveside service. All friends and family are welcome to gather at Goodwill Church in Montgomery at 1pm.  Eulogies will be given at this celebration.  Please bring fond memories to share and a dish if you wish.
