The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and its satellite facility, the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, have selected Baxter as general contractor of their new distribution center in the Town of Montgomery.

With the contractor now in place, construction is due to begin this summer and site preparation work is already underway. The new facility will allow the Food Bank to honor its commitment to improve local access to food by delivering 20 million pounds of food to benefit approximately 179,000 individuals currently receiving support from the Food Bank.

The project is expected to be completed in 2024.
