Local animal lovers are invited to join Gardiner’s own super model Great Dane for a fun-filled morning of furry fun and fundraising at the ballpark next to Gardiner Town Hall on June 3, from 9 a.m. -12 p.m.

Pups on Parade is a community event aimed at raising funds for a local animal rescue organization, Bleu’s K9 Rescue. Participants are encouraged to bring their well-mannered, non-aggressive dogs and pets to parade around the Ballpark and show off their cuteness for a great cause.

To volunteer to assist at the event, please contact gardinerpupsonparade@gmail.com. Those interested in sponsorship, silent auction donations or becoming a vendor may contact gardinerpupsonparade@gmail.com.

Leashes are required for all pets, and each walker may bring up to two dogs. Poop scooping is required, and bags will be provided. To ensure each dog’s comfort, please give them personal space. Costumes are encouraged, but not required, and event bandanas will be available for a suggested donation of $5.

The event will take place rain or shine, and all well-mannered pets are welcome to participate.

For more information, please visit the event’s Facebook page or contact the organizers at gardinerpupsonparade@gmail.com.
