Hailee Nicole Witherel, 19, of Gardiner, passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 23, 2022.
Born January 10, 2003 in Newburgh, New York she was the daughter of John and Helen (Rogers) Witherel.
She worked as a Paraprofessional for Berea Elementary School in Montgomery. She adored children and took great pride in her profession. She was loved and respected by everyone.
Hailee was artistic and funny. She loved animals of all kinds, especially frogs. She enjoyed acting and singing and was “Queen of the Selfie”. Her makeup and hair were always on point.
Survivors include her devoted parents, John and Helen Witherel of Gardiner; her brother, Joshua Witherel and his fiancée, Marlee Smith of Clintondale; her loving boyfriend, Jared Mallory of Wallkill; her grandfather, Robert Witherel and his partner, Bonnie Robbins, of WallkillY; her grandmother, Janet "Gammie" Odendahl of Wallkill, NY; her aunt, Julie Moussot and her husband, John of Wallkill; her cousins, Olivia Moussot of Wallkill, NY, Brianna Rogers of NYC, NY, Jaylynn Stover of Kingston, NY, Rocco Cioffredi-Rogers of FL, and Jayce Rogers of PA; two beloved cats, her best friend, Kitterz and Mia; two wiener dogs, Kirby and Bissell; and her many, many, beautiful friends.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, William Rogers Sr.; her grandmother, Margaret Bulson; and her uncle, William Rogers Jr.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Hailee’s name be made to Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, New York 12586.
