Joseph J. Edmunds, 70, of Pine Bush passed away on January 14, 2024. He was born on March 10, 1953. Joe was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Joe was a man who truly embraced life. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found on the golf course or training bird dogs. His unique sense of style always caught the attention of those around him, and he would often be heard telling stories of his life's adventures. He was "Pa" to many, especially to his granddaughter Maeve whom he loved and adored. Joe was a one-of-a-kind friend with a heart of gold.
He is survived by his son Joseph, his wife Christine and his granddaughter Maeve. He will be missed by his siblings: sister Margy Edmunds, his brothers Perry (Lynda), Peter, and Richard (Rose) Edmunds, and his sister Mariann (Brion) Moniz, as well as many nieces and nephews. Additionally, he leaves behind his lifetime partner, Judy Moore and her grandsons Devin and Dylan Moore. Joe was also preceded in death by his parents Phil Edmunds and Mary Bonney Edmunds, and his brother Jimmy Edmunds.
Service and burial will be private, with the family planning a Celebration of Life for this spring/summer. The details of the celebration will be announced at a later date.
