The Town of Wallkill Planning Board approved the site plan for the new Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Place of Worship at the public hearing held on February 21.

At approximately 5000 square feet, the Kingdom Hall sits on a 2.72-acre parcel located in the Highway Commercial Zoning District on East Main St. There are 74 proposed parking spaces and no kitchen facilities.

The board advised the applicant to contact the fire department to provide signage to make the nearest fire hydrant visible as it is located through the woods.
