With the arrival of autumn so comes “leaf pick-up season”, Maybrook Mayor Dennis Leahy noted at a village board meeting last week. And, as it does every year, the village is now offering biodegradable bags for residents to fill with their fallen leaves. The bags are free and available at the village Government Center.
Maybrook’s trash contractor, County Waste, is currently picking up bagged leaves but that ends Thursday, October 26. When it does, the village Dept. of Public Works (DPW) will pick up bagged leaves once a week (in biodegradable bags only).
