Mary Lou Caruana, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Bullville, entered into rest on Monday, May 29, 2023. She was 84.

Daughter of the late David and Gertrude (Voshall) Walmsley, she was born on November 10, 1938 in Canton, Ohio.

Mary Lou was a retired Real Property Tax Supervisor for the Commissioner of Finance, Orange County, Goshen, NY.  A woman of faith, she held dear her children and grandchildren. She was a baseball fan especially the Yankees, and had scrap books about the team dating back to the 1970’s. She was a parishioner and volunteer greeter for the Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Ocala, FL.

Survivors include her son, Brian D. (Stephanie) Greene of Springfield, MO; a daughter, Karen (Nicolas) Tocci of Montgomery; four grandchildren, Dr. Danielle (Steve) Tolman, Alexander Gross, Amy Greene and Stephanie Greene; one great granddaughter, Eisley Tolman; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, David Walmsley.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, June, 3, at Sacred Heart Church,  Newburgh.
