The Pine Bush Library is excited to announce their upcoming event, the Dowsing Intro/Refresher Part 1, which will be held on April 20, at 1 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.

The event is open to both new attendees and those who attended last year’s class. The instructors, Sue and Bill Wiand, will refresh the memories of the returning attendees and explain what dowsing is and ways to use it for the new attendees.

Dowsing is a technique that uses a Y-shaped or L-shaped rod or a pendulum to locate underground water, minerals and other hidden substances. It has been used for centuries and has been found to be useful in various applications such as archaeology, agriculture and health.

To reserve your seat for this event, please call (845) 744-4265 ext. 2.

The Pine Bush Library is located at 227 Maple Avenue, Pine Bush and can be reached at (845) 744-3375.
