Phyllis T. Graziano of Newburgh, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in Newburgh.  She was 71.

The daughter of Judy (Miccoli) Tersillo and the late Aldo F. Tersillo, she was born March 14, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY. Phyllis was a graduate of Valley Central High School. She, along with her husband Jack, owned and operated Jack’s Auto Tech automotive shop. In recent years, she worked for Jeremy Clements NASCAR Xfinity Racing, helping with the personal relations and promotional aspects of the business.

She was a lifelong resident of the Newburgh area.

Phyllis was an avid reader and could often be found sitting near an open window with a book and cup of coffee in hand, ready to greet everyone who walked in her door.  Of course, no one could leave without being made to sit down, have something to eat, and chat awhile. She loved antiques and had collected many beautiful pieces during her time owning the antique shop Daria’s Dream.

Anyone who knew Phyllis knows she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and her friends, who were like family to her. She was a second mom to most, including her beloved nieces and nephews. She was always available to listen and give advice. She will be forever missed.

She is survived by her husband Jack Graziano; son Jayson Lukacs; daughter Jenna V. Graziano; stepson Jack V. Graziano III; grandchildren Max Graziano and Ethan Graziano; and her mother Judy Tersillo. Phyllis is also survived by her siblings Frank Tersillo (Paula); Tony Tersillo (Trina); Thomas Tersillo (Beth); Judith Bracken (David); and Maria Clements (Tony). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family.

She was predeceased by her father Aldo F. Tersillo, brother Aldo Tersillo, and niece Antonia Tersillo.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. Please email memoriesofphyllisg@gmail.com for service information.
