The Town of Shawangunk Conservative Party held its caucus on Thursday, July 6th at the Shawangunk Town Hall, supporting a largely incumbent slate of candidates.

The endorsed candidates included Jane Sawyer Rascoe, town clerk;Richard Blazeski, highway superintendent; Brian Amthor and Joseph LoCicero for town council and Michael Voss for town justice. All are incumbents.

The one new face is their choice for town supervisor to replace the retiring John Valk. The caucus chose Ulster County Legislator Kenneth Ronk Jr. as their candidate. Ronk recently defeated Councilman Adrian “Binker” DeWitt in the Republican primary.

The general election is November 7.
