The Town of Shawangunk Democratic Committee has announced the following endorsements: Congressman Antonio Delgado, State Senator Jen Metzger, and Chad McEvoy for Assemblyman of the 101 District.

Delgado, the committee noted, has worked to restore IRS customer service operations; helped pass a provision for expanding disaster loans and grants to small farmers and spoken up about Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s opposition to help fund state and local governments.

The committee noted that Senator Jen Metzger has continuously supported cleaner environment recommendations and offered assistance to obtain unemployment insurance through her office.

The committee is also supporting Chad McEvoy who unsuccessfully challenged Assemblyman Brian Miller two years ago.

“As a businessman, farmer, and family man, he supports a clean environment, more help for farmers and small businesses, and a determination to reconstruct a ridiculously, gerrymandered district stretching from Orange County north through Oneida County,” the committee noted.
