Sheila K. McCarthy of Walden passed away on Friday, June 9 2023 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 44.
The daughter of Justin and Sonia Castro McCarthy, she was born on August 2, 1978 in Brooklyn, NY.
Along with her parent, Sheila is survived by her brothers: Richard McCarthy and his wife, Jenna, of Houston, TX and Justin McCarthy III of Glen Spey, NY; nephew, Logan, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1-4 pm on Saturday, June 17th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 4 pm at the funeral home. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
