Stanka Plut of Walden, a longtime resident of the area went to see the love of her life on Monday, July 11, 2022. She was 90.
The daughter of the late Andrej and Marjeta Jenc, she was born September 28, 1931 in Novo Mesto, Slovenia.
She was the widow of Joseph Plut.
Survivors include her daughter Stanka Lang and son-in-law Henry Lang of Walden; son Joseph Plut and daughter-in-law Maria of South Hamptons, NY; son Walter and daughter-in-law Gayle Plut of Wallkill.
Grandchildren Heidi Lang, Jamie Plut, Lauren and Joe Sileo, Tara and Justin Ramirez, Jason and Kayla Plut; great grandchildren Joseph Phillips, Sophia Phillips, Ella Sileo, Joey Sileo, Katherine Sileo, Cruz Ramirez, Jax Ramirez, Bryce Ramirez, Emma Plut; caretaker and friend Gilbert Omiling, also Chris and Aurora Limbo.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Aloiz of Germany, Rudi, Stane, Mici, Milka, and Zofi of Slovenia.
Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden.
