Verizon tower proposal aired by town planning board

The Town of Montgomery Planning Board adopted a negative declaration of environmental impact for a proposed wireless telecommunications tower on Stone Castle Road.

The proposed 150-foot tower (with a four-foot lightning rod at the top) would rise above the Cranesville Block site at 177 Stone Castle Road.

The installation would include panel antennas on nine separate antennae and a proposed power and fiber network utilities to serve the facility as well.
