TOWN OF MONTGOMERY
NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE
TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Sections 506 & 526
of the Real Property Tax Law)
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Montgomery, Orange County, New York has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and a copy has been filed in the Town Assessors office at the Town Government Center located at 110 Bracken Road, Montgomery, New York, where it may be seen and examined by any interested party until the fourth Tuesday in May, 2024. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:15am to 5:00pm, and Friday 8:15am to 12:15pm, until the fourth Tuesday in May.
The Assessor or designee will be in attendance with the roll on: May 13, 2024 from 9:00am to 2:00pm; on May 15, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm; on May 18, 2024, from 9:00am to 2:00pm; May 22, 2024 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. May 15 th & May 18 th requires an advance appointment.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 28, 2024, between the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Town Government Center located at 110 Bracken Road, Montgomery, New York, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessment, on the written application of any person believing himself/herself to be aggrieved. A New York State Real Property form 524 "Complaint on Real Property Assessment" application is available online at www.tax.ny.gov.
