Assemblyman Chris Eachus and his Legislative Director, Dylan Villano and District Office Manager Ryan Feeney spent much of Monday, Aug. 26 on the road, you may recall from last week’s newspaper. They picked up a truckload of flood-related supplies at Sacred Heart Church (items that had been donated to the community a year ago) and made their way to the Danbury Municipal Airport, where they were assisted in the transfer by Michael Safranek, airport administrator for the Danbury Airport, shown here with the assemblyman. The airport will be used as a distribution center for various aid organizations in the area, and the cleaning and hygiene supplies and food will be given to the municipalities that were hit the hardest, such as Oxford and Southbury.
